Origin

The 5,000ft altitude and pristine conditions of the Highlands of Papua New Guinea are perfect for growing high quality arabica beans.

The coffee is shade grown on small family allotments, these house an oasis of biodiversity; home to both native plants and wildlife. The cherries are handpicked and carefully processed.

Roasting

Single-origin coffee (as opposed to blends) allows for a coffee’s unique intensity and flavour characteristics to be enjoyed in it’s purest form.

We roast weekly to ensure fresh, rich flavour - with three varying degrees of roast available. You can pick up a bag from any of the farmers’ markets we attend (see list below), our stockists, or the online shop.

Engage

Your purchase helps create sustainable opportunity for growers to sell their coffee.

Much of the population of PNG live in rural areas in traditional villages where the rely on subsistence farming - growing what they live off. Therefore coffee is invaluable as a ‘cash crop’ - the monetary income from it is very import for necessities such as schoool fees and medications.
